Golf Courses

Golf de l'Odet, Benodet Three miles from Bénodet, this course has been created out of more than 250 acres of woodland. It provides excellent golfing for amateur and pro alike with large bunkers, lakes, long fairways and dense woodland. On the second hole, there are enormous pine trees in one of the bunkers, which have to be cleared by a good approach shot. A 9 hole course serves as a warm up prior to playing the main 18.

Golf de Coornouaille, La Foret Fouesant Designed by the renowned golf architect, Fred Hawtree, part of the course's charm is the frequent choice the player must make between the safety shot and the daring strike. Undulating fairways are expansive and good use has been made of water hazards, bunkers & woodland throughout the course, which has been designed incorporating the natural beauty of the area. The clubhouse, an 18thC converted manor, is known for its relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Restaurant closed Tue/Fri (Nov-Mar) & Wed except Jul/Aug.

Golf Ploemeur Ocean, St Jude Although a relatively short championship course, it is known as one of the toughest courses in southern Brittany. The natural seaboard landscape offered great scope to the designers. This links course has many large pot bunkers, sloping fairways and eight of the beautiful 18 holes have water hazards. In the winter the wind off the sea turns this into a very challenging course indeed.

Golf de Val Queven, Lorient Only minutes away from Lorient town, the Quéven-Lorient course runs alongside the river Scorff, skirting woods and crossing valleys. It is a hilly course, with a great variety of holes, featuring several dog-legs with well-positioned water hazards. The greens are in very good shape and the clubhouse is warm and welcoming and has panoramic views.

Golf de Val Baden, Baden Shaded by ancient oak and graceful pine trees and skirting the shore of a pretty sea inlet, this course overlooking the Iles du Morbihan provides top class golfing with wide open fairways and heathland, and well placed bunkers and water hazards.

Golf de Rhuys Kerver, St Gildas de Rhuys An attractive links course set in natural surroundings with flat fairways, water hazards and the superb scenery of the nearby coast. Add to this the benefit of a lovely, mild climate all year round and you have a course which is popular with all standards of golfer.
Restaurant closed Feb & Mon.
